Contempt

Legal Service Contempt - Vanlanduytlaw Greer - Family Law AttorneysOnce the court issues an order the parties are direct to follow the terms contained therein. If a party is not paying child support, alimony or even following through on a transfer of an asset there may be an action for contempt to pursue. A contempt is simply asking the court to enforce the order; to direct the other party to comply. Our lawyers are happy to assist to even see if we can resolve any failures to comply with the court order prior to filing an action.
